Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM)

Ferguson Township, State College, PA

In 2003, Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) opened its doors with a mission to serve and advocate for the medically underserved residents of Centre County. Since then, the demand for its services has grown tremendously. After moving from its original location to a slightly larger office in 2008, CVIM purchased its own facility on Sandy Drive in 2021.

PennTerra Engineering was excited to be a part of the team that worked to open the doors to this 11,000 square foot community healthcare facility. Since an existing building was being used, the site plans paid extra attention to the sidewalks, landscaping, lighting requirements, parking layout, and their respective requirements. When patients, employees, and volunteers arrive at the new location, these exterior details will provide a safe, modern, and welcoming environment.  Ultimately, the land development plan was approved by Ferguson Township, construction began, and CVIM will move into their new facility in May 2023!

CVIM will continue to offer patients medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services, as well as case management services and prescription assistance.

PennTerra is proud to support this community non-profit organization and its important mission.
