Happy Valley Blended Products LLC

Benner Township, Bellefonte, PA

Founded in 1997, Happy Valley Blended Products, LLC (HVBP) receives shipments by flatbed, van or pneumatic tank trailers, hopper bottom and pneumatic rail-cars, then custom blends those products into various package sizes. By 2021, the company was outgrowing its facility on Axemann Road and decided to approach PennTerra Engineering to help them plan for a second location. PennTerra's team advised on the lot selection within Benner Commerce Park, which has easy access to Interstate 99.

On the 5.7-acre lot, PennTerra's team laid-out the site plan for a 60,000 square foot building with two loading bays for tractor trailers. There are nearly 40 parking stalls to accommodate the building, which has plans for a 15,000 square foot addition.

PennTerra worked closely with the owners of HVBP, Barry and Dan Gensimore, as well as Dan Mattern, the designer of the building, and Steve Balkey, formerly of Ameron Construction, to make the building fit on the site while optimizing access and deliveries.

PennTerra was proud to partner with the Gensimores on their growing business as they take up residence in the Benner Commerce Park, where PennTerra has a long history.
