In 2022, Wawa made its plans for Centre County, Pennsylvania public! Wawa was planning to open its first location in the area.
Based in eastern Pennsylvania, the chain of gas stations and convenience stores has a devoted following of customers who enjoy the custom food options and friendly rivalry with other convenience stores.
PennTerra Engineering's team is excited to work with Wawa as they enter the Centre County market.
At their Eagle Point location just off the Benner Pike in Benner Township, the land development plans propose a 16-pump location on a 1.8-acre commercial lot. The 6,000 square foot building will be flanked by over 60 parking stalls. PennTerra's plans also include attractive landscaping, lighting, stormwater management, overall site layout, and utility service. Special attention was paid to the traffic patterns coming into the site and exiting from Eagle Point Drive, as well as the right-turn only exit directly onto the Benner Pike.
