Planning for this 94-bed hotel, developed by Sai 21, LLC., began in 2021. The four-story hotel is situated on a 2-acre lot on the booming Benner Pike, just outside of the Borough of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Avid Candlewood Hotel features both traditional hotel rooms and extended-stay style suites within its 58,152 square feet of space. The developer paid special attention to the look of the structure within its environment by requesting extra landscaping - especially in the parking lot area, as well as pedestrian-friendly sidewalks.
