The View and The Valley
Patton Township, State College, PA
PennTerra designed this two phase 28 acre residential community serving Penn State’s main campus. The 14 acre first phase of the project (The View) consisted of 216 apartments, a clubhouse and recreational amenities. Working for Homestead Development Partners, PennTerra designed The Valley, the 14 acre, Phase 2 of the student housing community. The challenges of the project included the siting and layout of the 540-bedroom apartment building and the 35-bedroom townhouse building between the existing Phase 1 community (the View) and Interstate I-99.
