John Sepp, P.E.
John provides civil engineering services to residential, commercial, industrial and insurance investigation projects. His in-depth experience in managing the design and construction of numerous land development projects ensures that projects are designed correctly and on time, as well as, within budget. As PennTerra’s president, John is responsible for guiding daily and long-term operations of the firm. He ensures that PennTerra’s team consists of the most highly qualified and creative people. He also ensures that PennTerra’s personnel receive the best training, on-the-job and in the classroom, to keep abreast of the changing needs of the field. John holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County.
Mark Magrecki, RLA
Lancaster Office Manager
Mark has over 20 years of experience in design and project coordination related to the development of commercial residential, recreational and institutional sites. His responsibilities include office management, project management, client management, project scheduling and budgeting, due diligence studies, analysis of zoning and subdivision ordinances and zoning text and map amendments. He also specializes in project representation at public meetings, preparation of land development and construction drawings, preparation of technical specifications, and construction administration. Mark is a graduate of Kansas State University, where he earned a Bachelor Of Landscape Architecture degree, and he pursued graduate coursework in Architecture and Urban Design at Washington University, Saint Louis, MO. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Pennsylvania.
Chad D. Stafford, P.E.
Chad has extensive experience in environmental audits and engineering, delineation, design and mitigation planning and permitting of wetlands, construction management, structural design, structural audits and investigation, investigative engineering and engineering related to civil engineering. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree and completed the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Protection and US Army Corps of Engineers Training Program for Professionals specific to Wetland Delineations. Chad is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
Mark Torrretti, RLA
Senior Project Manager
Mark joined PennTerra Engineering, Inc. in 1994. As a project manager, he is responsible for ensuring that projects are designed correctly, efficiently and on time. His other responsibilities include client coordination and meetings, obtaining municipal, county and state permits and approvals, and preparation of project specifications, contract documents and construction cost estimates. Mark’s experience includes preparation of subdivision and land development plans, site feasibility and construction management. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture.
Nevin Grove, PLS
Chief of Surveys
Nevin has extensive experience in all types of field and office survey work. His experience includes electronic field surveys, ALTA surveys, building structure projects, feasibility studies, preliminary designs, final designs, construction surveys, post-construction as-built surveys and Marcellus Shale surveys. As Chief of Surveys, he is responsible for the activities of two field crews and coordinating all surveying activities on a project basis with the Project Managers of the various PennTerra engineering departments. He attended Pennsylvania State University and is a professional Land Surveyor in Pennsylvania.
